The Wangan Midnight x Angel Clover WM40-Z is a collaboration watch themed around Asakura Akio's Nissan Fairlady Z S30 — the "Devil's Z" (悪魔のZ) — from the legendary manga and anime series 湾岸ミッドナイト (Wangan Midnight). A deep blue dial carries "28" at its centre, directly referencing the legendary L28-modified engine that gave the Devil's Z its supernatural straight-line speed. Three sub-dials styled after car instrument gauges, a wheel design engraved caseback, and a "Z" engraved crown complete a watch that immerses itself entirely in the world of the car and the myth around it. Based on Angel Clover's 40mm solar platform — the same foundation as the Initial D collaboration watches — this is a pre-order model available July 8 through August 6, 2026, with shipment from early August.
