The Sonic the Hedgehog 30th Anniversary Official Watch is a limited-edition collaboration timepiece created to celebrate three decades since Sonic's debut, produced by Seiko in partnership with SEGA. A cobalt blue dial forms the backdrop for Sonic racing through a shuttle-loop index design, capturing the speed and energy that has defined the character since 1991. Built on a genuine Seiko chronograph movement and individually serial-numbered, this is the world's first collaboration model between Sonic and Seiko, and arrives complete with a special collector's box and guarantee card. With sales already concluded on Premico's official store, this release carries added scarcity for collectors.
Sonic Seiko watch: A 30th Anniversary Collector’s Timepiece
- Cobalt Blue Shuttle-Loop Dial Design: The dial features Sonic racing through a shuttle-loop-inspired index design set against a deep cobalt blue background — directly referencing the iconic loop mechanics of the original Sonic the Hedgehog games.
- Seiko Chronograph Movement: Powered by a genuine Seiko quartz chronograph movement with an accuracy of ±15 seconds per month, combining reliable timekeeping with stopwatch functionality and a calendar function for everyday practicality.
- World's First Sonic x Seiko Collaboration: Released to mark Sonic's 30th anniversary, this is the first-ever collaboration model between SEGA's Sonic franchise and Seiko, making it a genuine milestone piece for both watch collectors and Sonic fans.
- Individually Serial-Numbered: Each watch bears its own unique edition number engraved on the caseback, confirming its place within the limited run of 3,000 pieces worldwide. Serial numbers are assigned randomly and cannot be requested.
- Stainless Steel Construction & 10 Bar Water Resistance: The 46 x 38 x 9mm stainless steel case and matching bracelet are protected by a Hardlex crystal, with water resistance rated to 100 metres (10 bar) for everyday confidence.
