The Seiko Prospex Speedtimer Solar Chronograph HBJ005P is the third wave of Seiko's 145th Anniversary limited collection, drawing its thematic colour from 江戸紫 (Edo Purple) — the traditional colour that has defined Tokyo's cultural identity since the Edo period. The Speedtimer lineage traces to the 1960s and 70s, when Seiko produced some of the world's most iconic chronograph designs for the motorsport and aviation communities. This model revives those archival proportions and silhouettes — tachymeter-ringed aluminium bezel, sub-dial layout, high-contrast legibility — and renders them in Edo Purple across both dial and bezel display ring, with gold accents throughout. Solar Caliber V192 with 1/5 second stopwatch, 60-minute counter, power reserve display, and approximately 6 months' running time on a full charge. Curved sapphire crystal with inner anti-reflective coating. Screw caseback marked "LIMITED EDITION". Stainless steel bracelet with one-push triple fold.
