The Seiko Prospex Speedtimer Solar Chronograph HBJ004P is the black-dialled companion to the HBJ001P — the same Caliber V192 solar chronograph platform, the same tachymeter bezel, the same curved sapphire crystal with inner anti-reflective coating, the same power reserve display, the same Core Shop exclusive distribution. The difference is the dial: where the HBJ001P wears blue and silver, the HBJ004P goes black and green — a darker, more assertive expression of the Speedtimer's motorsport identity, closer in character to the instruments of endurance racing than to the open-road touring aesthetic of the blue model. The black dial maximises contrast against the green accents and the luminous Lumibrite treatment on hands and indices, making the HBJ004P the stronger legibility choice in bright light.
