Inspired by the rich greenery of Thailand’s bamboo groves, the Seiko Prospex Alpinist SPB435J1 blends classic heritage with a mission for conservation. This Thailand-exclusive "Bamboo Grove" watch re-imagines the iconic 1959 Alpinist Laurel in a limited run of just 1,000 pieces, honoring both Seiko’s legacy and the natural beauty it seeks to protect.
Encased in a robust yet refined 39.5mm stainless steel case, the Bamboo Grove features a mix of brushed and polished surfaces, built for adventure with an elevated finish. A delicately engraved bamboo leaf bezel encircles the dial—a subtle tribute to the tranquility of Southeast Asia’s forested landscapes.
The sunburst green gradient dial captures the play of light through thick bamboo canopies, while gold-toned hands and markers evoke a warm, earthy elegance. It’s a design that doesn’t just tell time—it tells a story.

Launched in 2023 at Huai Kha Khaeng National Park, the project began with forest preservation efforts and has since expanded to include the conservation of Thai elephants—a national symbol and an integral part of the country’s natural heritage.
