A monument to time celebrating the 10-year history of the passionate red E6 Komachi as it races through snowy country
In March 2013, Japan's Shinkansen reached a new phase with the debut of the Akita Shinkansen "E6 Series Komachi".
The long-nose, streamlined body is clad in the passionate red of snow country, and combines high speed performance of a maximum speed of 320 km/h with stable running on the complex terrain between Morioka and Akita. The bold red impact of racing through a snowy world is sure to catch your eye in an instant. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the start of operation of the E6 Series Komachi, Seiko has released a commemorative watch.
The image color is madder red and the windshield is black, while the arrow silver hour hand is reminiscent of the traditional silver filigree craft.
The motif of golden ripe rice ears... This chronograph model stylishly incorporates the innovative design of the E6 Komachi, which has given a vivid new impression to the Shinkansen. Limited to 5,000 pieces, with an edition number. Delivered in a special box.
