The M42 collection, which refers to the great nebula named after Orion, the son of the sea god Poseidon, is a modern, high-performance diver's watch that makes full use of high technical capabilities. Its historical roots go back to the "Olympia Calendar Diver" and "Calendar Auto Orient" released 60 years ago in 1964.

The "M42 Diver 1964 2nd Edition F6 Date 200m Titanium", which will be released as a 60th anniversary model, is characterized by the use of titanium in the case and band, which was introduced in the previous model. The titanium model is about 35% lighter than the stainless steel model, and not only does it have a light feel that expands the range of uses for diver's watches from sports to everyday use in town, but it also has the strength to withstand harsh environments due to the hardening treatment of the titanium surface with a protective coating. Titanium also has excellent properties such as resistance to corrosion, resistance to seawater and sweat, and low metal allergy, making it an ideal material for full-fledged diver's watches in many ways.
