The Hangyodon x Seiko Collaboration Watch is a PREMICO x Seiko production dedicated to Hangyodon — the half-fish, half-dog Sanrio character created in 1985 who spent decades as a cult favourite before experiencing a major cultural revival in the 2020s, becoming one of Sanrio's most beloved characters among adult collectors and fans of the brand's vintage lineup. The watch pairs Hangyodon with his companion Sayuri, placing both characters on the dial together in a design built around the colour palette of the ocean — the environment that defines Hangyodon's world and the blue-green tones that characterise his visual identity.

The dial is described as ocean-coloured (海の色をイメージしたカラー) — a soft, watery blue that reads as both a colour-accurate reference to Hangyodon's aquatic world and as a versatile daily-wear dial that sits comfortably against most clothing. Hangyodon and Sayuri appear on the dial looking out at the viewer, rendered in a style that captures their characteristic gentle, slightly melancholic quality — the expression that made Hangyodon a mascot for people who relate to feeling a little out of place.
