An automatic mechanical watch that uses the traditional Japanese craft "Kanazawa foil" to reproduce the characteristics of the characters from the anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba". A masterpiece that can be said to be a work of art, with the dials hand-finished one by one by skilled craftsmen.
The movement, which is the heart of the watch, is made in Japan and assembled in Japan.
Kanazawa foil
Kanazawa foil is known for being used in Kinkakuji Temple. Kanazawa boasts the largest gold foil production in Japan, and has developed into a world-renowned production area due to its climate, geography and history suitable for gold foil production.
In order to faithfully reproduce the coloring of the characters, this product mainly uses colorless silver foil.
Silver foil is a traditional material that requires advanced techniques, just like gold foil. Silver ingots are hammered and stretched to a thickness of about 0.1μm (1/10,000th of a mm), and then carefully painted by skilled craftsmen.
Since it is all done by hand, each product has its own unique character.
*All dials are handcrafted by craftsmen. The pattern may differ slightly from the image.
*The case back is screw-down, so the rotation of the logo may differ from that shown in the photo. Thank you for your understanding.

Japanese traditional craft "Kanazawa foil"
History of gold foil
Gold foil is a traditional material that has been used in the architecture and furnishings of prestigious temples and shrines such as Kinkakuji Temple and Nikko Toshogu Shrine, as well as in everyday items such as lacquerware and ceramics.
Kanazawa is the production center for 98% of gold foil. The unique technique of stretching a metal ingot weighing just 1g to the size of a tatami mat is still being passed down to this day.
The city of Kanazawa
Kanazawa in Ishikawa Prefecture flourished as the castle town of the Maeda clan of the Kaga domain, and traditional crafts such as Kanazawa foil, Kaga Yuzen, and Kutani ware, as well as traditional performing arts such as Noh, have been passed down for many years.
This region faces the Sea of Japan, so it rains a lot and is covered in snow in winter.
The high humidity makes it suitable for traditional gold leaf production.
Silver leaf dial
Making the foil
This product uses silver leaf to reproduce the coloring of the characters.
Silver leaf is made using the same process as gold leaf.
1. The metal is heated to 1300℃ and poured into a mold to form it.
2. The cast metal is rolled and stretched into a strip. This process is repeated about 20 times to create a metal strip of about 2/100mm to 3/100mm.
3. Through several more processes, the foil is stretched thinly and finally finished to a thickness of 1/10,000 of a millimeter.
Coloring
The finished foil is attached to the base of the dial, and each piece is colored by hand.
Assembling the watch
A mechanical watch is assembled by a watchmaker
The completed dial is finished at a domestic factory.
Nationally qualified watchmakers assemble each watch with the utmost care.
The assembled watches undergo strict quality control checks, such as waterproofing and operation checks, before being delivered to customers.
