The Iconic Nature Collection captures beautiful moments of the ever-changing scenery of nature and condenses them onto washi dials.
This watch focuses on birds, which have long been a motif in poetry and paintings and an object of admiration. The dial depicts a golden eagle, a species of eagle that is also the symbol of The Citizen, gracefully dancing in the wind on an updraft. As part of our sustainable watchmaking efforts, we use leather from LWG-certified tanneries for our leather bands.
*LWG (Leather Working Group): An international organization consisting of leather-related brands, tanneries (manufacturers), and chemical manufacturers. Tanneries that pass rigorous screening are given the certification, with consideration given to the environment and safety in the manufacturing process.
No regular battery replacement required
The light-powered Eco-Drive is CITIZEN's proprietary technology that converts sunlight or the faint light in a room into electricity to keep the watch running. Once fully charged, it will continue to work for a long time even in places with no light, so there is no need for regular battery replacement.
Scratch-resistant, lightweight, and rust-resistant
Citizen's proprietary material, Super Titanium, is titanium treated with Duratect (surface hardening technology). It is 40% lighter than stainless steel and has a surface hardness more than five times that of stainless steel.
Reduces reflections and makes the dial easier to read
Clarity Coating is a glass coating technology that reduces reflections by transmitting approximately 99% of light, making the dial easier to read. Even in sunny places such as parks and beaches, you can clearly read the time as if the glass was not there.
A watch that is resistant to shocks and magnetism and won't slip out of place
Perfex is a unique technology that combines three functions: "JIS Class 1 magnetic resistance," "shock detection function," and "automatic hand correction function," to prevent the hands of your watch from slipping out of place due to magnetism or shocks.
