Violet Evergarden Gaiden x Seiko Memorial Limited Edition Wristwatch

The Violet Evergarden Gaiden: Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll x Seiko Memorial Watch is a collaboration between PREMICO and Seiko Watch Corporation, dedicated to the 2019 theatrical side story that explored the relationship between Violet and the two sisters — Isabella York and Taylor Bartlett — at a girls' boarding school. The film is widely regarded as one of Kyoto Animation's most emotionally precise works: a story about learning to express what cannot be said, taught by the woman whose entire existence is the act of transcribing what others cannot write for themselves.

The watch translates that thematic weight into two dial designs that reference memorable scenes and symbols from the film. The boarding school's refined visual character — pale light, white architecture, the formal stillness of a place where restraint is the language — is carried through the dial design and the white special presentation box. A letter-format warranty card is included, referencing the Auto Memory Doll's medium: correspondence as the vehicle for everything the characters in the film cannot say in person.
