The Seiko Astron Nexter Solar Radio HAC003J is the compact 36mm model in Seiko's 145th Anniversary third-wave collection — a Japan domestic limited of just 500 pieces, and the only model in the Edo Purple series sized and proportioned for a smaller wrist. At 36.0mm diameter and 8.7mm thick, this is an exceptionally refined case size for a solar radio watch — a technical achievement given the movement it houses. Powered by Solar Radio Caliber 7B62 with radio correction from Japan, China, USA, Germany and the United Kingdom (five countries — one more than the HAD003J), perpetual calendar to 2099, and approximately 9 months' drive time on a full charge. The Edo Purple dial features the same horizontal pattern emboss and vertical gradient as the HAD003J. Pure titanium case with Dia-Shield coating. Mirror-polished centre bracelet links with gold tone. Super Clear sapphire crystal. "LIMITED EDITION" caseback. 10ATM water resistance. Releasing October 9, 2026.

The slim profile is enabled by the Caliber 7B62's refined architecture and is the key differentiator between this model and the larger HAD003J.
- Horizontal Pattern Edo Purple Dial — Gradient Depth: The same "horizontal pattern" three-dimensional emboss with vertical Edo Purple gradient as the HAD003J, adapted for the 36mm dial. Gold accent logos and mirror-finish centre bracelet links complete the 145th anniversary design language.
- Solar Radio Caliber 7B62 — 5-Country Radio, 9 Months Drive: Radio correction from Japan, China, USA, Germany and the United Kingdom — one more country than the HAD003J. Approximately 9 months' full charge drive (longer than the HAD003J's 6 months). Perpetual calendar to December 31, 2099. Auto and forced reception. Time difference adjustment.
- Japan Domestic Limited — 500 Pieces Only: HAC003J is limited to 500 pieces for the Japanese domestic market, making it one of the rarest models in the entire Seiko 145th anniversary programme.
