Description
To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the "Evangelion" series and the 10th anniversary of the "Shinkalion" series, the second "Evangelion Shinkansen Watch" has been released in collaboration with Seiko, Japan's leading watch manufacturer.
The second series is based on the Shinkansen "500 TYPE EVA-02," which was designed based on the idea of what would happen if a second "500 TYPE EVA" existed.
The dial design is inspired by the "500 TYPE EVA-02" seen from the front. The black of the windshield and the vibrant red gradation color are reminiscent of Evangelion Unit-02. The long nose that is the symbol of the 500 series is expressed by a parabola connecting the three subdials that resemble the instruments in the driver's seat.
This is a special watch that embodies the excitement of a collaboration that transcends the boundaries of different works and the joy of the anniversary.
The dial is modeled after the "500 TYPE EVA-02" seen from the front.
