The Sega Hard x SuperGroupies — Dreamcast Model Watch is an officially licensed collaboration timepiece produced by SuperGroupies, dedicated to Sega’s final home console — and the one that never got the ending it deserved. Released in Japan on November 27, 1998, the Dreamcast was a console ahead of its time: online gaming via built-in modem, visual memory units, and a library of genuinely innovative games from Sonic Adventure to Shenmue to Jet Set Radio. It was discontinued in 2001, but its legend has only grown since. This watch honours that legacy with an ivory-toned dial and silver metal band that capture the Dreamcast’s iconic white-and-silver aesthetic. The disc door sits at 12 o’clock. The open button is at 3; the power button at 9. The controller’s buttons appear at the base of the dial. The packaging evokes the Dreamcast’s original retail box.
