The GARRACK x Chainsaw Man — Makima Model (SMS-CM-40-M) is a limited-edition automatic wristwatch produced as part of GARRACK's collaboration with the theatrical film Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc. This Chainsaw Man Makima Model Watch features a dial made from Awa Washi momi-zome paper — a traditional Japanese paper craft with over 1,300 years of history in Tokushima Prefecture, hand-dyed and hand-crinkled so that every dial carries a unique colour tone and crinkle pattern. The red washi is chosen to evoke Makima — Control Devil, Public Safety Division 4 captain, the character whose composed, calculating presence commanded the entire trajectory of the series. The hands are shaped as her necktie. A coffee cup motif part marks 12 o'clock. The hour indices evoke the pale, ringed pattern of Makima's distinctive eyes. Made and assembled in Japan. - Awa Washi Momi-Zome Dial — Every Unit Unique: The dial is crafted from momi-zome washi paper by Awagami Factory in Tokushima Prefecture, hand-dyed and hand-crinkled so that every dial carries its own individual colour tone and texture. No two Makima Models look identical.
- Necktie Hands & Makima's Eyes as Indices: Both the hour and minute hands evoke Makima's necktie — the garment most associated with her controlled, professional presentation. The hour indices across the entire dial are designed to reference her distinctive ringed eyes — the most unsettling detail of her visual identity — making every glance at the time a reminder of exactly who's watching.
- Coffee Cup at 12 O'Clock: A coffee cup motif marks the 12 o'clock position — a small, precisely chosen detail that references one of Makima's most recognisable character moments and the quiet domesticity she used to project false normalcy.
- Miyota 82S0 Automatic — Made & Assembled in Japan: The Miyota 82S0 automatic movement is assembled in Japan, making this a fully Made in Japan piece at every stage of production.
