From Tokyo to Toyama, Ishikawa, and Fukui - Seiko's W7 series shining watch was born to commemorate the opening of the Hokuriku Shinkansen between Kanazawa and Tsuruga.

To commemorate the opening of the Hokuriku Shinkansen between Kanazawa and Tsuruga, a wristwatch has been released that is inspired by the "W7 Series Kagayaki" train, which carries people's hopes.

The design is in keeping with the concept of the W7 series, which is imbued with the desire to connect the traditional beauty of "Wa" to the future, and reflects the blue of the skies along the Hokuriku Shinkansen, the white color that expresses Japanese elegance and calm, and the copper color of the carriages that is the result of traditional copperware and inlaid work.

The stopwatch second hand of this chronograph model is the same copper color as the body stripe. The decoration at the 10 o'clock position is inspired by gold lacquer work, which is also seen in the luxurious interior of the W7 series Kagayaki. The motif of the Genji wheel pattern, which resembles a golden shining wheel, colors the time and engraves the joy of connection in your heart.
